The George Foreman grill are the favorite grills of all electric grills adepts. The George Foreman Next Generation Grill is one of George Foreman has a contemporary design and features removable plates in a silver metallic finish. This article reviews the George Foreman Next Generation Grill. This said, the George Foreman Next Generation Grill is not an outdoor grill, but is an indoor grill. However, due to its large popularity, we felt it was only fair to write a review about it for all electric grill lovers!
Removable large grill plates.The George Foreman Next Generation Grill is a very popular grill and is one of the most selling of all George Foreman electric grills. This electric grills comes with removable plates. This features is an improvement to the George Foreman original grill: while many people just loved their original GF, many are falling in love with the removable plates of the George Foreman Next Generation Grill because it makes it so much easier to clean.
Unlike the original grill that was fairly small, this newer model is much larger and wider, which is another big improvement. As a matter of fact, the grill itself has a good size, (96 inches square), which fits nicely 4 burger patties, and again,
The cooking. Great! The grill get very hot, to give you a nice crisp layer. However, the cooking is not always flawless. Many customers have complained about the heat not being uniform on the grills and to have hot spots on the grill. Fortunately, those hotspots can be use to your advantage for a faster cooking, or for a crunchier crust. You may not get your steak exactly right on the first time you use your George Foreman Next Generation Grill, but over time, you will learn where the hot spots on the grill are, and will learn to take advantage of it, or avoid them!
The cleaning of the George Foreman Next Generation Grill. Fantastic! A joy compared to the old model. You can let your plates soak in some water and gently scrub off the food for very clean plates.
Other comments: This is worth mentionning. There is a timer on the George Foreman Next Generation Grill. However, the timer does not shut down the grill. After the time is up, you will hear a beep, but that beep indicated only that your timer is up. This timer can be useful for pre-heating the George Foreman Next Generation Grill, but be careful not to leave your machine on, thinking that after the beep, it turns off automatically.
Overall, the George Foreman Next Generation Grill is a great machine, with some great improvement compared to the original version of the George Foreman Grill. You will be more than happy with the size of the removable plates, the ease of cleaning, the quality of the machine in general and the very affordable price. While the heating seems to not always be uniform, it can become an advantage rather than a liability, and you may even like the fact that you can cook your food slightly differently depending of where you put it on the plates. We give the George Foreman Next Generation Grill 4 stars out of 5.
